Footprints of Change (2025)

Synopsis: In this drama, three generations of women—Lin Si Yun, Yi Yi, and Ye Xi Ning—lived in an old bungalow during the sixth century. In the ten years of changing times, we have constantly encountered collisions between reality and dreams.

Lin Si Yun returned to China in the 1930s with the intention of establishing a maternity hospital, but she ran into a war. The hospital was converted into a garment factory in the 1950s. Yi Yi, a niece of Lin Si Yun, had aspirations of becoming a fashion designer, but as the widow of a Kuomintang officer, she had to balance her love life and work.

This former cottage was converted into a renowned hotel in Shanghai during the 1990s. Ye Xi Ning, Yi Yi’s granddaughter, was initially getting ready for her best friend’s wedding here when she unintentionally became entangled in a plot. This led to her losing her job and accruing enormous debt, which compelled her to heroically face obstacles and embrace the reform and opening up movement.

Over a sixty-year period, three generations have made their mark on the flow of time by demonstrating their unwavering bravery and strength.
