Light beyond the Reed (2025)

Synopsis: An ordinary woman with a normal life and a regular husband. Her spouse failed to pick her up at the wine party she was at one night, which led to her being raped.

She chose to stay quiet, though, since she was frightened of being blamed for drinking, wearing a dress, or being disloyal to her husband. She was also afraid of all the trouble she would get into if she talked. But out of the blue, her husband saw her tears and her pain. Again, out of the blue, he seized her hand, took the phone, and said, “Let’s call the police and file a complaint.”

This is the story of a woman who was hurt and her husband, who will stand with her on the road to ask for justice. The path will be long and difficult, but there will always be an end to despair.
