Synopsis: The Su, Mu, and Xie lineages jointly run Blood River, the most feared assassin guild in the realm. They are capable of striking royals in court and crushing vast factions in the wild.
The three factions compete for the top position when the patriarch is poisoned during a mission. Su Muyu is the commander of the Spider-Shadow unit and provides protection to the dying leader as they pursue a cure. He encounters master healer Bai Hehuai and clashes with his old companion Su Changhe and elder Su Zhe.
Subsequent to brutal power conflicts, Su Chang He ascends to the position of patriarch, and Su Mu Yu assumes leadership of the Su lineage. They initiate the “Other Shore Plan” in order to extricate Blood River from the shadows and establish a new existence that is not bound by the blade of any individual.
