Synopsis: Qi Si Zhe is the youngest forensic medical examiner in Licheng’s police force. While examining a car accident that claimed the life of his girlfriend, Yu Fei, he uncovers clues suggesting the crash was not an accident at all, but part of a larger, hidden scheme. Determined to uncover the truth, he joins He Cheng’s major crimes unit to continue his investigation.
As he works with the team, Qi Si Zhe becomes entangled in a series of bizarre and unsettling cases, including a corpse found wrapped in cobwebs and another body mysteriously appearing in the formalin sink of his own lab. Partnering with detectives Zhu Qing Yue and Han Feng, he steadily pieces together the clues surrounding Yu Fei’s death. Their investigation eventually leads them toward a dangerous substance known as “Original Diamond,” hinting that all the cases—and Yu Fei’s tragic end—may be connected.
