Synopsis: In ancient times, a meteorite enveloped an extraterrestrial object and crashed on Fengzi Ridge, bringing seven unusual creatures. These animals have the potential to parasitize humans, disrupt their mind, and lead to evil behaviors.
An ancient moral teacher and his followers carved seven wooden tablets from a sacred tree, pulling foreign creatures into them and named them the “Seven Heart Tablets”. To seal the tablets, they created a Phoenix Lock from the meteorite. Throughout generations, talented and noble individuals carried on the master’s mission, chronicling and passing down the procedures of sealing the Heart Tablets.
A hundred years ago, a dog unintentionally dug up one of the wooden tablets in Fengzi Ridge, reintroducing the Heart Tablets to the world. Over the next two decades, a string of odd murders followed one another.
